2020 was a challenging year due to the global pandemic, but FLO-2D Europe responded with resilience. Training and collaboration activities moved online, with webinars, digital courses, and virtual workshops that kept the international community engaged and connected.
Collaboration with academics specialized in hydrogeological risk modeling made it possible to develop several scientific initiatives, while IDRAN srl provided remote technical support.
Despite the difficulties, the community continued to grow, with new users discovering FLO-2D precisely thanks to digital opportunities. This transformation marked the beginning of a new phase in which online training became a stable and strategic resource.
